Ugh!

Somewhere inside this smog, we are all inhaling this yellowish gunk...



OK... This picture is obviously changing constantly as I directly inserted the image URL.  So what you see now is no longer the one I posted at 3:54 pm.  It is now a live Web cam image of the city that is updated by the hour. Very cool to see!

  1. I have been regularly checking the AirNow website for current AQI conditions, and they have this "Salt Lake Haze-cam" as a link as well. I like to watch the AQI loop in the evenings because you can see patterns in when the AQI spikes. Usually spikes around 3 to 5 PM everyday.

    1. I like that loop, too, Cole. It makes the smog look like an organism breathing in an out each day that has moved in and developed its own path through the valley.
